Melinda Buchmann, founder of Oyster Shucking Empowerment Coaching and former corporate HR baddie, initially found Hang Ten Agency after going through a sea of Facebook recommendations for somebody (anybody!!) to help with her branding! She had climbed the corporate ladder, and decided to take the leap, and build something on her own: her start-up, which was designed to help frustrated individuals know their worth through her career coaching services.
She needed a brand and a website to showcase what made her so unique. (And trust us when we say, Melinda is so beautifully, authentically, and epically unique! We couldn’t possibly let her brand look like just another Career Coach from Fiverr.)
Melinda hired Hang Ten Creative Agency saying she found a team that had the ~vibes~. We understood her vision, and we were so excited to bring it to life!
We started with the brand and played off of her brilliantly named business concept. “Oyster Shucking” is a metaphor for getting to the messy middle of her coaching client’s sticky situations in order to find the pearl that is their true talent!
We created a full logo-suite with an OS lettermark, nested as a pearl within an oyster.
The website brought it all to life, showcasing Melinda’s background, services, and talents, blending her brand through it all!
She came back to us a year later looking to revamp her photos through brand photography and a content grab that can only be described as a real life dream come true, getting to meet Melinda off the zoom calls and on site at a shoot! She truly SLAYYYYED that photoshoot and her brand photos are now sprinkled throughout her website and social media accounts! (Check it out!)
